Long Jing, also called The Dragon Well, is a loose leaf Green tea. Vacuum Sealed to preserve its freshness. Free shipping directly from Taiwan.

Many tea experts feel that Dragon Well is the finest and truest of the Green teas. It has been described as the ideal beverage for quiet, contemplative times.

Mantra Tea sources this Long Jing from a unique tea variety grown only in San Xia, Taiwan. This Long Jin is grown by 4th generation award-winning tea masters. It is hand-plucked and processed before Gu Yu, the "Spring Rains" of the Chinese calendar. This is the time when Long Jing tea is considered of best quality.

Character:
The tea leaves are pressed flat, and have an aroma reminiscent of Nori and toasted caramel. The tea liquor is a glowing yellow with hues of pine tree, and the aroma has hints of lime. It is smooth and gentle to savor, and a perfect complement to seated meditation practice.

Preparation:
Please be sure to use a high quality spring or filter water, and not too hot about 70 Celsius. Green tea may turn bitter if handled improperly. Please refer to the Brewing Guide.
