How did Mantra Tea start?
Mantra Tea was established by a local Taiwanese tea professional with a dream to share unique specialty tea from a beautiful island-Formosa*. Unanimous praise to Formosa tea from the founder's friends abroad brings the idea of tea merchant. On trips to visit experienced tea farmers, she realized hundreds of year’s traditional tea processing skills could be lost because young generations prefer to work in cities rather than help old generations with family tea farms. As a Formosa tea lover, the founder hopes to retain this tradition by sharing precious Formosa tea to the world. This is how Mantra Tea was born.
